Turnips can follow beans or leeks in the crop
rotation. Fork in a high phosphate fertiliser at
2oz/sq yard 10 days before sowing. Sow seeds in
drills half an inch deep, 12" apart from April
to mid-July.
Thin
out seedlings to 6" apart. Water in dry weather.
